Toy Story 4 in 2017?
Toy Story 4 is on the way!
With Toy Story 3 being a critical and commercial success, it's a no-brainer to make another one, but hope seemed dim for the chances of a 4th installment, until today. Disney has announced that John Lasseter will direct a 4th installment in the Toy Story franchise that will hit theaters June 16, 2017.
Not many details are known about the film, but Tom Hanks and Time Allen are expected to reprise their roles as Woody and Buzz Lightyear, respectively, and the story is going to be a love story.
How do you feel about a Toy Story 4?

Disney released the TRUE title, via Twitter, of the upcoming 7th installment in the Star Wars film franchise!
Now, let's over examine what the title means:
If this is the force awakening, then will we see more fantastic superpowers that the force can bestow upon jedi? Will this new, hot shot crew retcon the midichlorian debacle?
Will this be a chance to see 70-odd Han Solo wield the force that has awakened within him? Where is Boba Fett?
It seems the new title has only created another pocket dimension filled with inquiry...
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens on DECEMBER 18, 2015...so yeah...over a year from the time of this post...

Wonder Woman Film To Take Place in 1920's
The solo Wonder Woman film, which is slated for 2017, will take place in the 1920s!
Although it has not been confirmed by DC or Warner Bros, reports are surfacing that the upcoming Wonder Woman, starring Gal Gadot, will act as a prequel to the DC Cinematic Universe, and will take place in the 1920's.
The film is said to take place on Paradise Island (the Amazon) before Diana (Wonder Woman) accompanies a male back to the United States. Based on the descriptions that are being reported the film seems to be influenced by the 2009 animated Wonder Woman film.

ALL Upcoming Superhero Movies [Update]
Look at how far the superhero/comic book film genre has come!
It's hard to believe this juggernaut (pun intended) film class almost went extinct! After the EPIC, PROFOUND failures of the Batman franchise and various cancelled projects in the Superman franchise, it was up to The Daywalker to resurrect the field. The release of the first installment of the Blade franchise finally brought the source material of a comic book down to a manageable perspective.
This included a shift from low quality visual flares to more contemporary settings, and stylized writing. For a time, it was less about comic books and MUCH more about making a good film. In the case of Blade (1998), this was accomplished. The tone was edgy, the visuals were kinetic, and the main character was "bad to the bone." There were no cheesy foam suits or over done attempts to capture the comic book essence (due to the technological limitations). In a word, it was FRESH!
Thanks to the success of Blade, the genre soon found its way to the successful/acclaimed Dark Knight franchise. The other show of excellence and evolution in the genre is the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, we still have MANY questions about the DC Cinematic Universe.
[via Comic Alliance]:
"ComicsAlliance’s own graphics maestro, Dylan Todd, put together a timeline that reveals what the next six years of superhero movies look like, with some dates and titles still to be announced. The graphic will be updated as new information is released."

Ghost in the Shell could be entertaining with Scarlett Bombshell as the lead!
There's no doubt Scarlett's name carries much prestige in world of action films. She's just coming off the transhumanist sci-fi Lucy which opened to mixed reviews, but ended up doing well at the box office. This film, along with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has propelled her status as a legitimate action hero.
Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman) is attached to direct the live-action adaptation and up-and-comer Margot Robbie WAS in talks to play the lead. However, it's clear the studio Dreamworks wanted to go in a more safe direction with Scarlett. But fret not, Robbie is in line to play a role in the upcoming Suicide Squad film and will star in the upcoming Focus, starring opposite Will Smith.
