Suicide Squad Movie Coming Soon?

The DC group known as the Suicide Squad maybe heading to the big screen soon!

DC has announced that they have signed writer, David Ayer (Training Day, End of Watch), to direct an upcoming Suicide Squad film. This news was reported by site Variety. Although no release date is set nor do we know which villains will be in the Suicide Squad, we can probably expect the film to fill a predetermined DC film release slot.

The Suicide Squad is a group made up of super villains throughout the DC Universe (mostly Batman's villains) hired by an agency to do jobs deemed "suicidal" for anyone else to do. The notable recurring characters are Deathstroke, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and more.

Deadpool Film Slated for 2016

The 'Merc with a Mouth' that we have all come to love is set to get is own solo film!

Fox has pinned the solo Deadpool movie for February 12th, 2016. Fox has talked about putting an X-Men spin-off in this spot and had many people believing it would be Deadpool, but has not said anything about it until now. Reports from sites such as Variety are saying that Tim Miller will direct the film and Kevin Fiege, of Marvel, will act as a producer (which will probably make all of us feel a little bit better about the film's direction).

However, little is known about the project. Will it be rated R or PG-13, or will Ryan Reynolds reprise his role (hopefully he does)? In any case, the announcement that a Deadpool movie is in the works is cause for excitement since fans have been demanding one for some time now.

Project Zero- BioBlast: Villain Steven Jones/ Dr. Roboto

Steven Jones is the main antagonist and arch enemy of the main character, Ken Saunders, in the upcoming series Project Zero!

Background

Growing up Jones had always been passionate about robotics and with his father owning the world’s largest robotic research facility, he was able to get an early start at working with them. Jones also developed a strong rivalry, and eventually, hatred for Ken Saunders because Ken was always one step ahead of him intellectually, and always out did him in everything he did. After the passing of his father, Jones dropped out of school to take over United Robotics Corporation (URC) to work on the latest military robots for General O'Conner, which finally gave Jones the feeling that he finally bested Ken. But when Ken finds Project Zero, he makes Jones’ robots look obsolete and embarrasses him, causing their rivalry to boil over. Now, Jones, or as he like to be called, Dr. Roboto, plans to use his robots to prove that he is better than Ken Saunders, no matter how many lives it costs.

Abilities and Resources

Steven Jones possesses a vast amount of wealth derived from his father's past business ventures that he passed on to him after his death, along with URC, giving Steven Jones access to the biggest robotics company in the world and a seamless, endless supply of advanced attack bots he created. Jones does not posses an physical powers, but when it comes to his mental ability, his genius is among the top intellect on earth making him just as dangerous as the strongest Ken. 

Fact

-Steven Jones gets the nickname, Dr. Roboto, from Ken Saunders during their high school days when he would always use the robot dance as his signature move.

Avengers: Age of Ultron- Plot Details!

New plot details have Iron Man as a focal point in the story!

It's no secret that Avengers: Age of Ultron is one of the hottest topics in the film industry, but here are some exciting new plot points from the upcoming (potential) blockbuster [via Disney]:

"Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. Project Zero- Ken Saunders Profile

This is concept art for the lead character in the upcoming comic book series, Project Zero!

Ken Saunders is a hopeful entrepreneur/inventor who could not get his inventions to work. Then, one day, he crossed paths with the extraterrestrial Weapon Zero suit and it changed his life. In his hands, the suit becomes Project Zero as he learns how to deal with its immense power and protect himself from General O'Connor's army as well as his overzealous nemesis, Steven Jones.

TNT is looking to air a live-action 'Teen Titans' series!

In the wake of Cartoon Network abandoning all good programming, and The CW only airing superhero shows in their lowest quality, it seems TNT is ready to the comic book genre a shot.

The CW is partially owned by Warner Bros., who own the rights to live action properties based on DC Comics. At this point TNT and Warner are making a deal on a pilot production order [per Variety]. 

Here is Samuel L. Jackson to explain what a pilot is:

TNT is just the latest network to move on a comic book property after: AMC, Fox, The CW, ABC.

These leaked photos show us the next Batmobile!

The Batmobile is known as Batman's most iconic form of transportation, as it contains as many gadgets as his utility belt.

Keep scrolling to see the new BATMOBILE!

It seems the designers wanted to pay homage to the both the Tim Burton AND the Christopher Nolan versions of the famous vehicle.

From looking at the actual Batmobile, they accomplished their mission by combining the design of the lunar rover with that of a champ car (CART racer). What we have now is a Batmobile that is still edgier than the "Burtonmobile," but more compact than the "Nolanmobile" (The Tumbler). 

This new design will, henceforth, be known as the "Snydermobile."

Here are details on the first story arc!

Project Zero is the first title of the Starship Comics Universe (SSU)

Arc Title: Competition

Time Period: Present Day 

Main Protagonist: Ken Saunders/ Project Zero. 

Ken Saunders is an aspiring entrepreneur and inventor who has been down on his luck while trying to get one of his projects to work. After almost giving up, Ken eventually finds a suit, Weapon Zero, that increases his intellect to superhuman levels and allows him to able to accomplish his dreams, and MUCH more.

Location: Haven City, New Port USA.

Story Arc Summary:

Ken Saunders is an aspiring college entrepreneur and inventor who wants to find the right project to start working on to open up his tech company, Sense. After being on the brink of giving up, Ken finds an alien suit that gives him the knowledge to complete one of his projects and become the billionaire business man he always wanted to be. However, along with the help of his new-found talents, Ken finds that the business world is a lot more dangerous than he thought, and in the process makes enemies that threaten him and his company. Now, Ken must use the power of his latest project, Project Zero, to fight off his rivals, the government , and others who come to destroy him, his company, and the world.

Allies:
Alex Gomez: Ken's best friend and college roommate .

Jasmine Lewis: Ken's love interest and high school sweetheart.

S.I.M.O.N.E.: An artificial intelligence (Rodroid) created by Ken to be an assistant.

Jillayne/Jill: The creator of Weapon/Project Zero suit and acts as the suits A.I. to assist Ken. 

Villains:
Steven Jones/Dr. Roboto: He is a rival of Ken Saunders in the professional and personal worlds. Jones has always been overshadowed by Ken and will stop at nothing to prove his dominance over his foe. 

General O'Connor: He is the commander of the US Army's Haven City Division, and would do anything to stop any threat towards his city. 

Attack Bots: Advanced drones created by Dr. Roboto designed for military purposes and intended to be the future of American defense.
