Martin Lawrence has confirmed that Bad Boys 3 is in development!
It's been 11 years, and counting, since the second installment of the Bad Boys franchise. While the film grossed over $270 million on a $130 million budget, it received a 23% on Rotten Tomatoes and was knocked on almost every level, from brutality to the unnecessary length (Michael Bay directed).
Martin Lawrence had this to say on Conan, Wednesday night [via Variety]:
“I believe so, yes. I just talked to Jerry Bruckheimer yesterday and he said it’s real; they’re working on the script, they’re getting close, and it all looks good.”There is no word on whether co-star, Will Smith will rejoin the cast. One thing is for sure, both of these men lack the star power they once had (and neither is a Transformer), and that could spell "disaster" for a Michael Bay film.
