Legendary Pictures announced another installment of King Kong!
The King will return to the big screen in 2016!
This announcement was a complete surprise near the end of the San Diego Comic Con, but it's a welcomed one. The only details given were that the story will involve more events on Skull Island, home of King Kong and other incredible monsters.
There's been no word yet as to wether this will take place in the same cinematic universe as the Godzilla franchise, BUT it should!
Both properties are now under the same banner (Legendary Pictures) and in this new age, it's highly possible!
