TweetThese are DC Comics characters that need a stand alone film...and WHY!
1. MISTER TERRIFIC (Michael Holt)
Michael Holt as Mr. Terrific is a story of redemption and accountability. He has the ability to learn any task and master any skills he is presented with. Along the way, he creates his mask and T-spheres after a visit from the Spectre. His intellect and personal tragedies would carry a deep plot that could involve the OMAC program and his tech firm, Cyberwear.

2. BRAINIAC
First of all, THIS IS BRAINIAC. He has yet to appear on the big screen since 3 Superman projects wiped him from their scripts. Maybe it's a sign that the Coluan conquerer should go solo. His origins tell of how he satisfies his thirsts for knowledge by absorbing planets after shrinking one of its cities for his collection. His creation predates both that of Galactus (from Marvel Comics) and the Borg (from Star Trek: TNG). His solo film could tell of what happened to other planets BEFORE he comes to earth. I must know how Brainiac went from Vril Dox, the explorer, to BRAINIAC, the destroyer of worlds.
3. FLASH (Wally West)
3. FLASH (Wally West)
This incarnation of the Flash is BETTER than Barry Allen. He traversed the Speed Force without "dying" (like Barry did) or suffering the negative effects of aging (like Bart Allen did). The only ability he has not displayed is phasing through solid objects WITHOUT them becoming unstable and exploding (Barry could pass through, boom-free). The beauty of Wally getting his own film is that you don't have to disturb the story of a Justice League film (since Barry is "JL Flash").
4. ATOM (Ryan Choi)
Ryan Choi is dead...BUT in the New 52 universe (which everyone is following now) his death has been erased. His powers to manipulate his size down to smallest levels are what make him special. This combined with his vast knowledge on nanotechnology make him a formidable hero, both physically and mentally. A film where everything is HYPER small would be fascinating to watch, to say the least. He could literally fight the common cold.

5. SHAZAM (aka Captain Marvel)
This film SHOULD NOT FOCUS on Billy Batson, but should illuminate the mythology of Shazam. He would obviously have to fight Teth Adam (as Black Adam) and that conflict would be earth shattering! You don't need the wisdom of Solomon to know this film would be a hit!
